Sometimes it can feel like a game of Russian roulette when trying to find good restaurants at which to dine on vacation. Guidebooks have limited restaurants which sometimes have gone out of business since printing. Review websites like TripAdvisor, while normally incredibly useful, sometimes fall short when it comes to restaurants, especially when you run a search and find McDonalds listed as the number ten restaurant in the city. For our trip to Stockholm I found a great resource, the White Guide, for finding the best restaurants in Stockholm.

13 Things to Do In Stockholm Sweden
Most trips to Sweden start with at least a few days in Stockholm. There are a lot of things to do in Stockholm, so we spent a total of four days in Sweden’s capital city. These Stockholm attractions can be visited all year long; we enjoyed them in winter. What we loved about Stockholm was the variety of things to do and see. Stockholm’s attractions aren’t all art museums or churches, but a great mix of interesting sites. We have compiled a list of what we felt were the top 13 things to do in Stockholm categorized by neighborhood.

5 Awesome Hotels in Sweden
| View of the Northern Lights from Camp Ripan in Kiruna. |
Part of having a perfect vacation in Sweden is staying at the perfect hotels in Sweden. We spent two weeks traveling through Sweden, starting in Sweden’s capital city Stockholm for history, then spending time in Swedish Lapland hunting for the Northern Lights and enjoying outdoor winter activities, stopping in Gothenburg in West Sweden for seafood, and finishing for one last night in Stockholm before heading home. During our travels through Sweden, we stayed at five beautiful, comfortable, and unique hotels in Stockholm, Jukkasjärvi, Kiruna, and Gothenburg.
